For dog-friendly holidays in West Masuria


Meadows, forests and lakes – your dog will also enjoy the holidays in old East Prussia! Unfortunately, dogs classified by Polish law* as aggressive breeds and dogs up to 1 year old are not allowed at Beniaskie!.

* American Pit Bull Terrier, Majorca Mastiff, American Bulldog, Argentine Dogo, Canary Mastiff, Tosa Inu, Rottweiler, Akbash Dog, Anatolian Karabash, Moscow Watchdog, Caucasian Shepherd Dog.


What to bring:

  • EU pet passport...
  • ...with a valid rabies vaccination administered at least 21 days prior to entry. Please ask your vet for more details.
  • The dog must be clearly identifiable with the above-mentioned passport and should therefore be microchipped.


In Poland, muzzles are only  required for  "aggressive breeds". On public grounds and in nature your dog needs to be on a leash.


There are no fences on Beniaskie!, so if your dog likes to chase wild animals or roam around, it is better to keep it on a leash.


On Beniaskie! and most other places, your dog is allowed on the beach and in the water. In many places, there are also designated dog beaches; please pay attention to any prohibition signs.
